Beckett and Francis take home the ERA titles. Manny Ramirez leads the RBI way with 10; Holliday and Torrealba both had 4 to lead the NL, so all three players were valid double-or-nothing picks. Even with those increased odds, skydivemom is the only player to nail the double-or-nothing and take home the four points.

As always, I encourage you to check my (and my spreadsheet's) math.
WORLD SERIES Man, I love typing that... I think I'll do it again.
WORLD SERIES Colorado Rockies (90-73) vs. Boston Red Sox (96-66)
MVP BONUS Pick the MVP of the Series.
MVP SUPER BONUS Pick the batting average of the Series MVP, .005. You do not need to get the MVP Bonus correct to get this right.
TIEBREAKER BONUS Pick the total number of strikeouts in the Series. This will only be used in case of a tie for the pick 'em or Costanza winners. Points will not be assigned for this bonus. Good luck!
Red Sux in 4 David Ortiz for MVP .435 Batting Average for MVP 55 total strikeouts in the series Thank for doing this, Doc.
Rockies in 5. Brad Hawpe for MVP .390 BA for MVP (everyone is shocked that it's mostly a pitchers' series) 63 strikeouts
Boston in 6 MVP = J.D. Drew (you read it here first!) Highest BA = .455 60 strikeouts
Rockies in 5 Holliday for MVP .410 53 K's
Boston in 6 MVP: Yoooooook Kevin Youkilis MVP Bats: .439 71 Strikeouts SpoFi post season MVP: Dr. John for getting this thing running.
Costanza here I come! From top to bottom in one season. Red Sox in 5 Ortiz .380 62 strikeouts
Red Sox in 7 Beckett .420 65 Ks
Red Sox in 5 Josh Beckett .143 69 K's
Rockies in 4 Helton .402 39 K's
I need to gain ground, so time to go against the grain. Rockies in 5 Holliday .455 44 strikeouts
Rockies in 4 Webb .200 56
Webb doesn't play for the Rockies or Red Sox.
Rockies in 6 Holliday .420 60K
That's what I get for recycling picks. Torrealba
Red Sox in 6 Mike Lowell .390 54Ks Thanks again, Doc. You da man!
Rockies in 7 Holliday .540 75k's
Red Sox in 7 Ramirez .333 81ks
Rockies in 5 Helton ,318 68K's
Red Sox in 7 Beckett .270 68K
Apoch at least you didn't do this.
You didn't see what I did in the confidence pool did you?
Colorado in 5 Torrealba 4.55 50 k's
Wait...no one has asked this yet? What if the MVP is a pitcher you use his batting average? Red Sox in 6 Beckett .000 92
That's what I assumed, Yukon. I know Beckett can hit a little, so I went with that.
I'm playing the odds. 2-3 ABs max, one will be a bunt
For the purposes of this pick 'em we will assign anyone with 0 AB an average of .000, so yes, even pitchers will end up with a batting average. Same as last year. As well, since the MVP/AVG bonuses aren't linked to each other, you can hedge your bet by picking one player for your MVP, and then picking an average he's unlikely to have.
Boston in 6 Ramirez, .415 78 strikeouts.
Grrr......Boston in 6 Manny 3.75 69 strikeouts
Manny has an ERA?
.375. Nobody ever sufficiently explained what a period is to me. Take that however you want it.
Rockies in 4 Taveras .410 42 Ks
Fine. I'm taking that as how much he can bench as well his record amount of strawberry Fruit Rollups consumed in one weekend.
He ate 75 Fruit Roll-ups? No wonder he can only bench 3.
what a period is to me When your mommy really doesn't like you.
I need one win from the Rockies. Just one.
Congratulations, apoch. Your only correct pick was the tiebreaker, which was worth no points. That's impressive. I'll post the final standings tomorrow.
