I friggin' missed another racist post? This is bullshit and I blame this on yerfatma and his Irish sounding name! Everybody starts talking about beer, so I say "Hey I'll pull my next door out of the ditch, she'll give me some of her German beer and I can get fucked up!" and then I say "Bitte ein Bit?" and she says "sure, dude" and I say "danke" and she says "what did you call me?" But at least I got some German beer, so Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Paging JJ! Is JJ in the house? 08:24 - March 18 - Belfast I am in no position to speak for self-respecting Irishmen. I passed the whole day without a) wearing green, b) drinking ANYTHING or c) realising it was St Patrick's day. This is telling as I also spent a large chunk of yesterday travelling back to Belfast - and even when I got here, I still didn't realise. In fact, the only thing time it crossed my mind was yesterday afternoon when I failed to back the winner in the Gold Cup (I picked the winner, and tipped him to a friend, but didn't trust myself, so I didn't back anyone, then the bugger romped home at 15-2 and my mate won 180 quid). I remember distinctly thinking "The Gold Cup is usually around St Patrick's day... what's the date? Who cares?" I still find it ironic to honour an abstemious saint (who arrived in Ireland and discovered there was no word for 'sobriety' in the native tongue) by going out and getting shitfaced. And he totally got way too much publicity on the whole banishing-the-snakes-from- Ireland thing. There have never been any snakes in Ireland! Why, only this morning I have banished the hummingbird from Ireland, but have they made me a saint? Have they bollocks.
