Toronto finally puts one together at home against Saskatchewan, but Edmonton just falls apart against the Lions.

One more tiny little bye week! As a result, each team enters this week on a winning streak. How's that for a statisical anomaly?

WEEK 9

Hamilton @ Winnipeg (Friday, August 26)
Wait, Winnipeg's won four games in a row? They're not really that good, are they?

Montreal @ Calgary (Saturday, August 27)
Calgary has won three straight to move into a tie for first in the West. But Montreal sports the same 5-2 record, and a much better plus/minus on the season. Calgary might be in tough to keep the streak alive.

Good luck!

And once again, a big thank-you to apoch for handling things during my vacation.

Now that I have placed a stranglehold on the Costanza, it's time to relax and make some really nutty picks!

Hmmm. That TiCats/Bombers game has me puzzled. I like Hamilton more than I should, but a four-game win streak and at home? Winnipeg by 5.

Calgary's looked good, but we're talking about the Alouettes. Forget it. Montreal by 9.

Let's see now. Gaining points, losing points, and my head is spinning. Dizziness is nothing new for someone my age, but at least I haven't had to order my Hover Round yet.

Hamilton travels to Winnipeg this week. Once again, the striped kitty is placed in the carrier and taken on a road trip. Kitty howls loudly all the way there, and is too tired to play the game. Blue Bombers by 12.

Alouettes spread their tiny wings and fly to Calgary. There they try to pick edible things out of the droppings of large 4-legged animals, but fail to get out of the way of the Stampede. Calgary by 6.
