After the kick went through, Tynes sprinted to the locker room, forcing the jubilant quarterback Eli Manning to hug holder Jeff Feagles instead.
“He ran off without me,” Feagles said. “I guess he thought he was going to get mobbed.”
Not quite. “I just wanted to get out of the cold,” Tynes said.

Seeing as the average team can only make the Superbowl once every 16 years, by definition, then the "average" player will get their first and probably only Superbowl appearance around their 8th year. Any player who can make it there in their fourth year is doing so quickly.terrapin: I am glad Eli gets his chance so quicklylbb: Four seasons is "quickly"?

Sad to see the Packers go down, but an exciting matchup in the Superbowl all the same. The Giants played a knock-down drag-out game in Week 17 against the Patriots, who looked vulnerable today.
