Yes, but he overcame that and became the greatest player in NBA History. I've watched LeBron and other's play and I don't see that happing to them, they will be great, but not like Michael was.

Labron is s truly a great ball player, person, and role model. Nike and the NBA are putting him on a pedistal that may change the series to a highly contested round 2. I like the kid, but I am pulling for the pistons to stop the overkill of selling " King James."

I think if Lebron won't win it for a few years, I just think he doesn't have the team around him yet to win it. They're good not great or amazing like the Pistons and Spurs. I just think the Pistons are too good.

Anyone who thought that King James would come up big in this series better think again after this beating. Under no circumstances should that be called a game, the only reason it wasn't even more of an utter blowout was the fact that Detroit took their starters out in the beginning of the fourth quarter. Obviously one game does not make a series, but the one man team from Cleveland is going to have to get more out of James. Yes he scored 22, but it was all in the first half. I just got back from the game and would have to say that I would be absolutly embarresed to be a Cleveland fan right now.

That's why I am glad to be a die-hard fan of the Pistons! We've had our dog days (pre and somewhat post Bad Boys and Grant Hill) but they are finally a good team again! They won't shoot like that every game, but that does not mean they won't play great either! GO PISTONS! To be a true King you have to at least have some jewels in your crown! The so-called King has nothing but a playoff series win, barely!

What Lebron is about to find out is that Detroits defense is not as soft as Washingtons. A couple of hard fouls inside should slow his game up a bit.

Washington's D was freaking pourous. There was no D to speak off - they were all playing "efense". Lebron is awesome - but I don't think he's going to find any open baselines with six seconds left in this series. I think the Cavs are getting torched.

One of the only reasons it WAS a blowout was the insane 3pt shooting by the Pistons. Going 15-for-22 from behind the arc is crazy. Their season average was 38.4% from back there. They shot 68.2% this game (and 90.9% in the first half). If the Pistons shoot like they normally do, instead of a 22pt lead at the half it would have been a 7pt lead. It might be a whole other ballgame if Cleveland doesn't have to climb out of THAT big of a hole at the half. The so-called King has nothing but a playoff series win, barely! Unlike real royalty, it's not a title that is inherited at birth. Let's come back in 10 years and see if he still only has a single playoff series win. I have a feeling he'll have a few more jewels in his crown by then.

i dont think theres any doubt that detroit will win this series. I dont think there was any doubt they would win even before game 1. They are too good of a Team and this is lebrons first playoffs. Detroit should win the finals but for lebron i think if he can get a few good players around him, in a few years he could have a shot at the finals. In my opinion he is the real deal and still has room to improve. He is still only 21 years old. Look at all the other superstars including jordan and where they were at age 21

What people are failing to realize is that ABC is so overblowing this series that they let an amazing game start at 1 EST over one that many are predicting to be a "yawner" at best. That Dallas/San Antonio game should have been the second of the ABC double header today, but hey, I'm just a poor college student, so what do I know?

Until Lebron has several championship rings he's earned, he's just a great basketball talent. Obviously he's so young, you can't predict if he'll ever be a part of that type of success, but MJ had the killer attitude that flat-out intimidated opponents before they even stepped on the court. As for this series, it's a mismatch.

While I am a Cavs fan! To all Pistons fans. I am not embarrassed from Yesterday's game! We admit that the Pistons are the best NBA team going now! The Cavs had no legs at all yesterday, Yes I did expect a blow out! Most teams do get blown out after a short turn around such as the Cavs had, Plus the Pistons had a shooting game of a lifetime! I feel the Cavs season is a success regardless of what happens with the Pistons! They are a team that is still building. Comparing James and Jordan is unfair, They both have thier own unque game. Jordon proved himself. James is in the process of. He's only 21 years old. He still has alot of years ahead of him..After all, this is his first playoffs! as well as the teams.. They need to add some players to compliment James just like the Bulls complimented Jordon with Pippon and Harper! Jordon could not of won anything without them. Just as James can not win without some team support. I beg to differ if people think the Cavs are a one man team. If that was the case, They would not of been this far, let alone the playoffs... So to Pistons fans, Enjoy your teams run you do have the best team in basketball, So you the fans of the Pistons can either be the best with them or the worst ofthe NBA, So don't be poor winners! Only you could ruin a great season the Pistons are having! I am hoping you all will be as great as your team...

You know who the real king is, right now in the NBA? Robert Horry! LOL...He has the most jewels in his crown and looks to add another one in June! It will take LeBron another 3 to 4 seasons, plus a downfall in Detroit, and Washington, better players just to make it to the Eastern Conf. finals. To make it to the Finals, well that will probably take about 7 to 8 years total when he's about 28 or 29!
