A great moment in sideline reporting history:: Suzy Kolber interviews Joe Namath during the Patriots-Jets game, and the result is something that probably won't make the NFL Films 2003 Jets highlight package. (audio and video links)
I couldn't believe it when I saw that, hilarious. He was definitely three thirty sheets to the wind at that point. Props to Suzy, she handled it well.

That was an amazing moment. My girlfriend and I were in the middle of a conversation (since they had cut to the sidelines) and she stopped mid-sentence to point out Joe was tanked. I wish Suzy had been less professional about it and let him grope her for all the world to see.

Saw it this morning on Sportscentre...when did Joe cross the line from legend to out-and-out loon anyway? He seemed just shy of self-drool. Anyway I howled when I saw it, and I don't feel bad.

HAHAHAHAHA! Oh, sweet Christ, that's awesome. I saw an article about this (just a blurb on ESPN), but nowhere in the article did they use the worlds "COMPLETELY SHITFACED", which is an essential part of the story. I can't thank you enough for that video link.

Let me just say that when I am like 150 years old, half crippled from having my knees ripped to shreds and completely buttfaced from pounding hard liquor, I can only hope I will still have the stones to make complete idiot of myself in front of millions of people in the pursuit of getting laid. I hereby vow to buy a Namath throwback jersey.
