Four different drivers can win the Formula 1 World Championship in the final race today. This is going to make it difficult for Michael Schumacher to know who to drive into.

In his confusion he took out Tonio Liuzzi who couldn't win the title if he had the only ticket in a raffle.

Headline in the local bird cage liner (Nashua, NH, Telegraph) this morning: "Brady to Pull it Out Tonight vs Steelers"

Published reader comment on the headline: "Isn't that what got Roethlisberger in trouble?"

And Favre.

I thought pulling it out was what you did to try to stay out of trouble.

If the Telegraph were published out of Portsmouth or Hampton, it would be fishwrap, I suppose.

That headline will probably make someone's list of funny news clippings which we will read in large print in our dotage.

I get lists like that from parts unknown. Such as compilations of church bulletin entries.

Example: Bean Dinner Wednesday Night at Fellowship Hall. Music to Follow.

"Are you coming back in 2011?" asked Mariucci, who was Favre's quarterbacks coach in Green Bay from 1992 to 1995.

"No," Favre said.

This time, he means it!

The Steelers are a bunch of clowns.

I actually believe him. Childress won't be there to coax him back, and there will be no overhwelming desire on the management's side to bring him back. The team will be in rebuilding mode, and will want to get a new, young quarterback to start to develop. Favre has no cache with Minnesota, and I doubt any team will try and get him after recent antics (both off-field and on-field).

Gee, you thing the Pats were looking past Cleveland to this game against the Steelers?

When you look at some of the quarterbacks teams are resorting to starting, I don't think you can rule out Favre getting offers next season if Minnesota wises up.

Isn't this that the truth. Chad Pennington, Max Hall anyone?

Favre could play another five years if he agreed to be a backup. He won't so he won't.
