Madden Jinx?: Shaun Alexander rushed for 187 yards through three games, which is less than a thousand projected yards throughout the entire season (997 to be exact). Not to mention he was on pace for only eleven rushing touchdowns. Terrible numbers for a guy who rushed for 1880 last year and had 27 rushing tds.

"Seperation Saturday" Blowouts, blind refs, and defensive struggles: Saturday ended with controversial calls, and top five teams falling. A Saturday to remember!!

Or, to put it another way: Is soccer really that important?

The new Toyota Corolla looks a lot like the Corolla we see everyday on the way to work.

Nascar is dying? Attendence and ratings are down? I'd like to see numbers backing that statement. Could very well be true and probably is. Just because people don't like Gordon or Jimmy Johnson, the two of which happen to be dominating in the recent past does not mean the ratings have been down.

I think you just figured it all out Bishop. Philly never talks shit, never sore losers. Philly fans are conservative and polite. Dallas fans are the devil. Dallas fans deserve to lose with that kind of attitude.

I live in Tulsa and I'm so glad to see OU lose. What a way to start out the new year! Buckfever....I bet you loved that game last year in '05 when OU was trying to figure out the QB situation and find themselves as a team.

I'm a huge OU fan. This loss hurts, but it not as bad as the USC loss, or even the Oregon "loss" this year. Maybe because it was a great story for Boise. Maybe the best football game ending i've ever witnessed live. I think for some odd reason OU played better this year without Adrian Peterson. Sounds crazy, but it might be true. It also didn't help that our top wideout got his bell rung early and didn't play the rest of the game. Congrats on your win Boise State. Last night was surely your night to shine. I don't think OU was winning this game no matter what.

By the way yerfatma, good post. Today I was wondering where I could find a site that revealed coaches last poll. Also interesting that Leach put Oklahoma so high on his poll. Maybe he is one of the coaches that are considering that Oregon game.

They are have to pay him for the entire season anyway, why not just keep him on your roster? I'm pretty sure that a team can only suit 53 players. Who wants to suit two place kickers when you could suit a deserving player. Besides I think that this is a mental thing for Vanderjagt. I am glad they cut him. I would rather see some other kicker miss a few field goals than see vanderspank miss them.

I'm pretty sure bo fan is right it doesn't matter. NCAA doesn't have the same rule as NFL about pushing the receiver out of bounds. But graymatter is correct about judgement calls, such as forward progress can not be reviewed. NCAA has showed a pretty pathetic display the past two years with this whole review. I think it is great if used correctly. Kind of funny how NCAA is so particuliar with money and basketball players can't participate in a game that is not with their team over a certain mile radius. But they sure let the review go by the waistside. But o'well NCAA cannot do wrong. A few of the plays mentioned in the article makes be sick!! The whole game needs to be reviewed I do not know if that is going to happen? As a matter of fact every single play is reviewed upstairs. If the play looks questionable they inform the refs to stop play to take further review.

LOL, Sorry iggot the blues and the black hand, I couldn't help the stupid comment. But yeah I'm with Cody, why did he schedule this during the playoffs? And right now he and the mrs. are probably like I don't understand why they are pissed, it doesn't make any sense!
