CFL Pick 'Em, Week 19: This is it! One more week to go before we crown a champion. What was once a runaway lead has turned into a close race. Make a difference and make your picks inside.

Montreal crushes Toronto's dreams of a home playoff game with a crazy zero-second win. Calgary coasts at home over the Ti-Cats. Edmonton's defence keeps the playoff push alive, but B.C. keeps pace with a win of their own.

Drama! JPR edges to within one point of the lead. Can tommytrump hold him off?

This is it! Your last chance for glory. Make it a good one. And try to ignore the fact that half the games are pretty much meaningless.

WEEK 19

Calgary @ Winnipeg (Friday, November 5)
Some motivation here: Winnipeg's playing for spots next year, and Calgary won't rest up too much with their bye next week. Enough for a good game?

B.C. @ Hamilton (Saturday, November 6)
Hamilton is getting ready to host their playoff game next week, but B.C. is still in the fight for a spot. The Lions will get the road edge this week.

Edmonton @ Saskatchewan (Saturday, November 6)
This is intriguing: Edmonton is still tied with B.C. for the third playoff spot, but Saskatchewan certainly doesn't want to head into the playoffs with a five-game losing streak on their backs.

Toronto @ Montreal (Sunday, November 7)
Toronto is still smarting from last week's tough loss, but Montreal has the bye next week and will want to keep in shape. Maybe this is a coin toss?

Good luck!

In Ancient Greece, the philosopher Socrates was renowned for his wisdom. One day, a man rushed up to him at the Academy, breathless with excitement. He said to Socrates "Do you want to know something about Diogenes?". Calgary by 7.

Socrates regarded the man closely. "I have attained great wisdom through applying a three stage test to all forms of knowledge", he said. "Before you tell me anything, it must pass these tests. First, the test of truth. Is what you are about to tell me the truth about Diogenes?"

"I don't know", the man replied. "I just heard it."

"So", continued the great philosopher, "The second test is the test of goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about Diogenes something good?". "No, it is not," the man replied, now looking downcast. BC by 7.

"Don't worry, because what you are trying to tell me might still pass the third test", said Socrates. "This is the test of Do No Harm. Is what you are about to tell me going to cause harm to Diogenes or anyone else?". The man now looked very disappointed. "Yes, it would cause harm". The man then realised that he had learned something very important, and so left the great philosopher to his thoughts. Edmonton by 7.

That is why Socrates is revered even today for his great mind and great wisdom. And why he never found out that Diogenes was shagging his wife. Montreal by 7.

owlhouse, GREAT way to close out the regular season. I don't recall this tale from Plato's Dialogues, but there's definitely a moral to the story. Nice one.

Even if they do have first-place clinched in the West, I gotta go with Calgary in this one. Bombers might as well close on the note that has resonated their entire season. Stampeders by 6.

This bullshit about resting starters could really bite the Double E in the ass if the Tabbies can't beat the Leos. Must-win for the Lions means they'll be ready. Gotta cheer for the striped cats in this one. In the end though, dammit if the Lions aren't good enough to earn their playoff berth. Lions by 3.

What does that mean, it means that the Double E will be in a must-win situation in Saskatchewan. The Riders are not going to go down on this losing skid. Who are we kidding? Eskimos have salvaged some pride in the new Tillman-era, but the playoffs just aren't meant to be in a season as tarnished as this one. Dan Kepley resigned for chrissakes! Roughriders by 11.

It'd be nice to see the Argos end the regular season on a high-note. The Als need to make sure they're sharp before their week off too. In an almost meaningless game, we might actually have a decent contest. I'll take the Alouettes but not by much. Say a field goal. And somebody please tell Socrates that Diogenes is shagging his wife.

GREAT SEASON, ALL! It's been a blast. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, DrJohnEvans!!!

See you in the post-season!

I was really hoping Montreal scored 4 with two safeties. You Canadians and your wacky pseudo-football.
