Sorry kids, I'm using all my strength to fight that First Flu of the Season™, so no standings until a little later. In the meantime, here are your Canadian Thanksgiving games this week:

Edmonton @ Hamilton - Friday, October 8

Toronto @ Saskatchewan - Saturday, October 9

Calgary @ Montreal - Monday, October 11

B.C. @ Winnipeg - Monday, October 11

Good luck!

There's nothing you can do to fight the First Flue of the Season - it's trademarked, so the law's on it's side...

PICKS!

Hamilton by 4

Saskatchewan by 12

Calgary by 9

BC by 6

(Also - has anyone noticed that almost without exception, it is pointless to consider how a team did the week before when considering how they'll do this week? The CFL has been so back and forth this year!)

Doctor Doctor, give me the news: you beating this bug yet? I've got a bad case of Pick 'Em Blues.

For Schultzie on the other hand ... there may be no cure.

Ho hum ... here we go again. Just when I've got a reason to believe that my beloved Esks might actually be able to pull off a victory again, I'm actually thinking that the Hammer might be the better pick this week. Prove me wrong Esks. Prove me wrong. TiCats Ivor Wynne by 7.

Riders roll over the Argos. That's just the way it will be. Samsquanch by 25.

Gonna go with the Colts in this one. Think they might be trying to send a message that they're the team to beat come late November. Stamps by 14.

And why not? Like Schultzie says, they are a better team than their record suggests. It's about time they put another one in the W column. Blue Bombers by 3.

Argos 24 - Riders 19 [Recap] Looks like special teams were a big difference in this one with two fake punts and a blocked FG by the Argos.

WOW!! What a selection of gutsy play calling by OShea & Co to give Argos a great surprising win in hostile territory. They looked good getting some revenge, & now must find ways to beat Hamilton to post a signification stat; having beaten every other team in the league.

GREAT WIN ARGOS. KEEP IT GOING!!

While I missed the first two games, I'm comforted by the fact that I wouldn't have picked them right anyways.

I messaged John my first two picks, not that it helped.

PICK CHANGE: Bombers are going with Brink ... not that this probably isn't a wacky move that just might yield an upset, I do think that Lulay is a more conditioned CFL starter. Puts the edge back in the Lions' favor. Lions by 6.

Don't I look like an ass? Jyles comes in, Lulay goes out ... fortunes are reversed simultaneously for both teams. Ah ... only in the CFL.
