Spofi EPL FFL: Week 8 update. If only a) the pool awarded bonus points for having a keeper taken off on a stretcher b) you could pick goalies by team rather than by player, then c) you'd have scored big with Chelsea this week.

Both my luck and my judgement are proving to be far more problematic this season than last. To remedy this situation I have taken to brandishing a lucky rabbit's foot and drinking even more than usual.

My keeper didn't even play. But it's ok, because the game subbed in my other keeper. Who also didn't play. So an annoying week, where I jumped Chico, (and didn't buy him dinner first) and still lost ground on our glorious leaders.

I hear ya, garfield. Good thing Ronny rested himself so he could be fresh for a second-rate Danish outfit in a meaningless group-stage Champions League game. And yet I record my best week ever and crack the weekly top 3 for the first time, thanks to a defence that includes bargain-basement Sheff Utd and Fulham wasters. Unsustainable...
