This sounds like fun. Anyone aware of anything similar (besides the Camp Pendleton Mud Run) in the States? SG: It can't be exactly like the Corps. Unless they have changed some standards and let you do the stuff in your underwear... carrying an inflatable alligator.

I am actually tempted to participate. Sounds like a tough run, but like the ESPN writer said, if so many can do it, it's certainly not impossible.

Not sure what's up with the guys in thongs though. They'll be members of the Thong Rangers [YouTube]. They raise money in Oxfordshire and beyond for worthy causes (including the charity I'm doing my Olympic thing for). They are odd, but they raise a lot of money and they have a lot of fun, and they make (most) people laugh.
