See, if you're gonna troll, you have to do your homework. Todd Helton didn't have a very good year last year, Sean Casey hasn't been a top hitter in 5 years and you only named 5 people total, not 10.
they are? I thought Todd Helton(white), Michael Young(white), Derek Lee(black), Johnny Damon(white), Sean Casey(white)...all were in the top 5 in each league! Latin Leaders by Positions C Victor Martinez 305 1B/LF Albert Pujols 330 1B Todd Helton 320 2B Luis Castillo 301 SS Miguel Tejada 304 3B lex Rodrguez 321 and Probably MVP 3B Aramis Ramrez 302 LF Miguel Cabrera 330 RF Vladimir Guerrero 317 Now, if these guys are at the top, they are pretty darn close.... Not a bad list of Latin Players here, Grum! Do they look like "dead brain" batters to you? -Stop the Hate!!!! wfrazerjr must be secluted in a remote "dogsledders village" up in canada, and hasn't been keeping up to date with the latest trend of Baseball that show the rise in quaity of Latin players. They make up 25% of all major leaguers, and 40% of all minor leaguers...."Brain dead" my @$$!
Ease up, Lou-- fraze was linking to a post about the Giants announcer who said that this year. And where does grum come in for a whuppin'?
That brain dead thing pissed me off enough so that I stopped listening to KNBR with the exception of baseball broadcasts. And I lost a lot of respect for Felipe Alou because of it too. I guess this fan really, really, really wanted to show Ozzie the love.
man, that post came up in another thread. That's his kid.
willthrill72, thanks for the clarification on it. Yahoo says its a "well-wisher".
There's a good story on Dave Zirin's site/blog thingy about the Dominican Republic and the so-called MLB 'academies'. Sorry can't link it because I'm in an airport, but it's that edgeofsports whatchamacallit.
