Canseco disputes news story on book: "I don't know where all that came from," Canseco said. "They may or may not be true. Yeah right Canseco like you didn't mention Rafael Palmeiro, Ivan Rodriguez and Juan Gonzalez already.

I personally think Jose Canseco is trying to make a buck out of this whole ordeal betraying his friends and even mentioning the President, saying that the president should’ve known what was going on with steroids back when he was the governor of Texas and owner of the Texas Rangers…Canseco please stop the drama and leave baseball alone!...

Jose is making MLB look like a victim with this book - and that is some difficult to do. What a maroon.

personally, i liked the dig on Bush. but then again, i like reminding people the born again president is an ex coke-head. Who knows what the book actually says, until it comes out. Who are MICHAEL O'KEEFFE and T.J. QUINN, and where did the list of names come from? But "leave baseball alone"? You've gotta be kidding me, LROD. The most steroid-infested sports league in NA, and you want to decrease the already "kids' glove" treatment the league is receiving? Dude? The league needs an asterik, not a blind eye to its recent history.

Would we be discussing this the same way if say somebody like Cal Ripken Jr. made these allegations?

I know what you saying Garfield and I for one hope that sports in general scrub the already infested system as we know it now, but leave the matter to the investigators and the sports officials to take care of that. I mean people that are qualify. Canseco’s book -Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant ‘Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big are nothing but the resemblance of how players with money have used any means to cheat the sport. What is worse is that they got away with it and there’s nothing we can do. Garfield I’m not for the blind eye and let me tell you something, this book is coming out Feb the 14th and Jose Canseco should change the title and called it: I used steroids and cheat it, smash hits and got big.

i think we should throw out the players from hall of fame who had steriods for example we start from the late 1950's its bullshit for hardworkin athletes who never juiced themselve that never been recognized this is y baseball is bs

"I have a gag order, so I can't comment." Is it possible to extend this gag order on Jose Canseco to cover the rest of his life?

If only. The year he spent up here for Toronto was a lot of fun and he seemed to be a pretty gregarious guy, not getting into trouble and generally being seen and not heard. I bet that was a first. Now he just seems like he's blown through all his money and is nothing short of a desperate, desperate man.

You are right WeedyMc, Canseco thinks these book is a pay back to the league because they have not given him the chance to come back....

The most steroid-infested sports league in NA That would be the CFL (Canadian Football League). They have absolutely no drug-testing policy and you have a bunch of players looking for a chance to standout and get a shot at an NFL training camp.

Why are his allegations news, honestly? Didn't we already know that most of the big sluggers shot up?

I cant say anything about Juan in particular, but does Palmeiro really look like he's shot up? He's not big at all, just has a sweet swing.....
