My favorite part of the story was when America's sweetheart Nancy Kerrigan blew her Disney endorsement by bitching about how corny it was during a DisneyWorld parade. That and, of course, the release of Tanya Harding's horrifying honeymoon video.

Susan Orlean's profile of the Tonya Harding fan club in her book The Bullfighter Checks Her Makeup is one of the best things I've ever read. I grew up near Tonya, and used to watch her rehearse at the local mall skating rink, and Orlean really nails the story of Harding and the area.

Some notes: 1) I still have a crush on Tonya Harding. I've tried therapy, I've tried slamming my winkie in a car door. Still think she's hot. 2) Never link to a rotten.com page while eating. 3) Ice skating is to sports as fingerbanging is to sex. wfrazer, we just watched the South Park fingerbanging episode the other day--what a classic! I love the way that Kenny explains all the raunchy references but we can never really hear him though the other boys can.

I believe you'll find that in the aforementioned Tonya Harding Fantasy web site. JG, I have this weird attraction to Tonya, I guess the same way I love fried bologna and pro wrasslin'. There's no accountin' for it, but I do loves them so. BTW ... I need a clearer definition of ga-gaing before I can admit to wanting to do it all over Tonya or not.
