World Series Confidence Pool! Help me kick the tires on my new super-speedy server and show off your mad prediction skillz by entering a good old-fashioned confidence pool for this year's MLB post season. You have until 6:30PM on Wednesday to enter your picks. If you're not familiar with this type of pool, please read DrJohnEvans' primer.

I'm in. I think I hold the pick 'em title from last year. Let's see if that was a fluke.

You only enter the winner of the series, not the individual games right?

done and done Thanks q........

Yukon, learn to read.

I can't find where we enter the number of games. How do you do that?

Hey Crafty no need to do that just use the drop down menus to select which teams will have the most wins to least wins over the course of the playoffs. So your pick to win it all should be picked for 8 pts. runner up 7pts. etr......

In! Excellent trash talk guys.

So, the SpoFi collective believes the World Series will be played between the Yankees and the Red Sox.

I know I do. Each team was chosen at least once to win the whole thing. And Yukon's talk was far and away the trashiest. Gross.

How do you get back to the trash talking page?

You can click on each person on the results page too see their trash talk NoMich. If that helps.

Thanks Folkways.

Or if you leave your mouse on top of the person's name without clicking, you'll see the trash talk appearing. I so look like a genius right now. Gotta enjoy it while it lasts.

Cleveland rocks! (Until they put Borowski on the mound, that is.)

Dear Yankees and Cubs: Get your fucking acts together! Signed, GuyWhoIsGonnaGetHammeredInThis PoolIfYouDon't

This is getting creepy. All my teams just keep on winning. I'm two games away from a perfect score in the first round.

So it's not a perfect score, because there wasn't an across the board sweep, but after first round action, my pick is still the optimal pick. Meaning that it is mathematically impossible to have more points than I have now. Gotta take glory where I can!

It is impossible for me to win the Costanza. So I'm doomed to be terrible, but not terrible enough.

Don't worry, pal, you'll always be terrible enough for me.

not terrible enough I don't like seeing you down like this, dude. Is it something we did, YYM? Have we been too nice? What if we randomly yelled at you for things? How can we help?

It has just been a rough fall. The cosmic balance of Detroit sports has been thrown out of whack. The Tigers tanked and missed the playoffs, Michigan opened up the season by losing to Appalachian State, and the Lions totally are somehow above .500. I'm just not sure what to do. And to make matters worse I find out that it wasn't the Japanese who attacked Pearl Harbor, it was the Germans.

I'm in. I think I hold the pick 'em title from last year. Let's see if that was a fluke. It was a fluke. Anyway, YYM, the Hawaiians brought it on themselves.

Don't worry, Ying, you've still got the Pistons' collapse to look forward to in the new year. And owlhouse is right. All that wearing of grass skirts, hanging garlands of flowers around each other's necks, and eating sweet, roasted pig...they had it coming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only way I don't have the Costanza clinched is if Arizona wins some games? Between this and the CFL I'm gonna call this the Fall of Fantasy Sports Futility.

I'm still hanging tight, but the D'backs' collapse is not helping me. I need the Indians to keep winning, or else some of you bullish on the Rockies (Chris2sy, mainly) could topple me. And apoch, you're very close to the optimal Costanza pick. That deserves congratulations.

A dubius honor, but I'll have to take it.

Wow, apoch, if only the Yankees had been swept...
