CFL Pick 'Em, Grey Cup Final Standings: Excitement at both ends of the standings make up for a less-than-stellar Cup game. Hearty congratulations are due to owlhouse and Folkways.

So! That's that. It wasn't quite as exciting and nail-biting a game as we'd all hoped, although there were a few moments that were entertaining enough. The offseason will be spent discussing whether the recent rule changes are to blame, and what should be done—if anything. After all, one of the changes last offseason increased roster sizes by two, and those spots tended to go towards defence and special teams. Both teams' defences were pretty good in this game: perhaps this is just the beginning of a defensive era in the CFL? The fan must decide.

Fortunately for us, an exciting end to the pick 'em made up for the less-than-exciting game (maybe): a flurry of movement with lots of MVP and Over/Under picks bearing fruit. However, that flurry didn't affect the top spot. Congratulations to owlhouse for nailing the winner and spread, and coming away with a well-deserved victory. At the other end, Folkways made a full complement of picks in every round, and yet failed to register a single point. Every single thing he picked was wrong. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you The Perfect Costanza.

Thank you, DJE. And thanks to owlhouse and that monkey that picks hockey teams on TSN - proving yet again, that predictions are not the exact science we hope they are.

A Perfect Constanza, that's amazing! Congratulations Folkways, you'll never be able to do it twice.

Thanks Dr John, well done for this and the season as a whole. You can lie down with a cold compress on your head now. Weedy - I am at a disadvantage versus the monkey, as he's at least Canadian.

Folkways this is a moment that you'll want to remember for the rest of your life. Congrats to owlhouse as well.

Congratulations owlhouse and folkways. Very impressive indeed on both parts. I personally am extremely happy with second place. This was fun and I hope to compete next year as well. Thanks for the fun!

Im not sure if I should laugh, cry, cuss, or just live with the fact that for me when I reach perfection it means im doomed to the bottom rung of the ladder of life. OK so maybe its not ALL that bad and apoch you're right, id never be able to do it again. But for now ill let Owlhouse gloat from above knowing revenge is sweet and I shall have my day. Thanks DJE for running this and to all that made it fun and congrats to the HootOwl that won.

Nice way to finish, owlhouse! Impressive indeed! Folkways, you know you're my pick for CFL Costanza MVP, right? ;) Of course, another thank-you to DJE ... this is a blast! Lookin' forward to next season ...
