What's up with the SpoFi Fantasy Premier League site? For the first time in forever I had time to look over my fading team, and spent a good 30 mins making some lineup changes. Today I get a lineup reminder that shows my old team. So I visit the web site, and lo and behold my OLD lineup is there with no record that I made all of those changes! Has anyone else had such problems?

Did you confirm your transfers? And today may have been past the deadline to make changes (although I doubt it). Also, don't forget you get a 4 point penalty for each transfer you make over 1 per week.

BTW, I know I confirmed the transfer and clicked on "make transfer." I just tried to recreate my previous transfer, so I hope it sticks this time.

Oh boy...I hope you don't lose like 80 points for making all these transfers. I did notice that if you make some changes that sometimes they won't show up in some view but will show up in another view, that is...if you click on different buttons to get to the same window... Do you know what i mean?

Ufez: And today may have been past the deadline to make changes (although I doubt it). The deadline is half an hour before the first game of the week, which is usually Saturday. So, we've still got a day and a half. As to the craziness, terrapin, this is nothing compared to yahoo. I'd chalk it up to a rare hiccup by an otherwise excellent free fantasy league. Just make sure you didn't get double-penalized if you lost points for making more than your one allotted weekly trade. If you did, then it's time to scream bloody murder.

Totally unrelated and not meant to hijack, but does Soccernet do this on purpose? (See also the big headline for the same story on the main page.)

Please explain... my lousy work filters don't let me see soccernet for some reason. All I get is Site Forbidden in big bold letters whenever I try to access it.

This is weird. I see at least two transfers I made over the last two weeks not there. I wonder if they had a crash and restored from a two week old backup. Somebody call Ghostbusters!

I sent a request for help, we'll see.

Amazingly, I haven't made a transfer so far this week. However, two of my work colleagues have done and their transfers stuck perfectly well. All I can think is that it may have been some temporary glitch or terrapin is an incompetent fool. (I kid because I love, but in a manly and not at all suspect way).

I can't deny the latter, but considering all the hassles I had just joining the league I am not ruling out the former either, squealy. I think there must be a vast European conspiracy to keep a Yank from winning the SpoFi league ;)

taupe: Totally unrelated and not meant to hijack, but does Soccernet do this on purpose? taupe et al: Yes, they do do it on purpose (I said doo doo!). I posted one a while back: Young Boys Wankdorf erection woe. We should watch out for future gems and post them!

More Butt talk from Soccernet: Moyes dismisses Butt talk On the front page, the headline was "Butt talk". Coming up next: "Ferguson goes medieval on Butt talks" "Ferguson agrees to hold Butt talks with Manchester City" "Keegan confident coming out of Butt talks" "Keegan gets Butt for a song"
