Get a Vasectomy, Enjoy More Roundball : "Research shows four out of five guys want to schedule their vasectomy before a major sports event," the Oregon Urology Institute declares in new radio ads. "Pretty uncommon?" If you're talking about my balls swelling up to the size of a grapefruit, it had better be "never in a million years!" Or I'm not going anywhere near that knife.

Just had my vasectomy done last Friday I had to spend the weekend recovering around the 3 reasons why I got it done. I think a weekend of sports is a lot better than 3 kids during the recovery process.
This isn't a new idea, my neighbor told me that several of his co-workers rented a hotel suite for the same reason several years ago.

It's too bad they can't give everyone a vasectomy at birth and then require that you meet certain financial and mental requirements in order to get it reversed. . .

Doc: I agree on the mental requirements. You need a license to drive a car, but not to create human life.

Financial? No. Some of the best parents I know would fail your requirements. Conversely some of the worst and dumbest I've ever seen would pass.

Lack of intelligence = Bad Parent
Lack of money != Bad Parent

As for vasectomies and sports... Chicks dig the no ball...

If you're gonna do it...and it's a big decision, what better time to do it? Be sure to act like a woman too...be a real high-maintenance pain in the ass. I highly recommend the first weekend in October. Lots of good football games.

Act like a woman? My wife had three kids without an epidural. I wouldn't pass a kidney stone without painkillers.
