Maybe this had been addressed in previous threads, but why didn't the NCAA limit its interference to automatically prohibiting schools like Florida State from hosting any NCAA Championship events? No real need to go as far as they did, but I don't think the Univ. of Utah deserves to have the NCAA cosigning on their use of Utes by giving the school its bi-annual favor of hosting first/second round games in men's basketball. (I'd look back, but (a) I have a huge ego and need to blather; and (b) my guess is that each thread has at least 30 comments.)
I meant the fight song. "You gotta scalp 'em Seminoles."
If we are going to start saying what is offensive and what shouldnt be a mascot I think Notre Dame shouldnt be allowed to use their "Fightin Irish" nickname. If the main Seminole tribe in Florida helped to make the mascot and all that jazz, then how could the NCAA impose its will upon anyone, thats all I'm saying. I will admit I am partial since the 93 and 99 in my name stand for the years FSU won the Nat'l Champioship.
Thanks for clarifying. How does the rest of it go?
You got to fight fight fight for FSU! You got to scalp 'em Seminoles! You got to win win win win this game, and roll on down to make those goals. For FSU is on the warpath now, and at the battle's end she's great. So fight fight fight for victory. The Seminoles of Florida State! F-L-O-R-I-D-A S-T-A-T-E FLORIDA STATE!! FLORIDA STATE!! FLORIDA STATE!! WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I think Notre Dame shouldnt be allowed to use their "Fightin Irish" nickname We're officially in summer repeats. This conversational avenue has already been explored. Turns out none of the drunks on that specific street care one way or the other.
We're officially in summer repeats. Is that why AMC is showing all those Bond movies? I hereby vote for George Lazenby as the Best Bond Ever
He got his fiancee shot in the head. That's not the best Bond ever. Clive Owen in ought six.
As in, the best thing ever for the Bond series was him only doing one movie. I'd have rather kept David Niven, unofficial or not.
