Sportsillustrated.com redesigned.: And where did the hell did the soccer tab go? Oh, that's right, under More Sports, which returns a picture of Michelle Kwan, when I select it there? Their dedicated Soccer Page doesn't seem to exist any more at all. Is SI giving up the ghost on it's soccer coverage? If so, where will I read Grant Wahl and Gabriel Marcotti (even though he annoys me more often than not).
Understood lbb, but until this redesign I relied extensively on SI for online soccer coverage (the last job I had blocked soccernet.com), and I managed to find a lot of good information there. I just was thinking that SI was going backwards even as other media outlets are increasing soccer coverage (see conversion of FSW to Fox Soccer). As for ski racing, I thought you were the source for updates!

i think it's just a glitch. none of the sport links on that page are working. but their site does suck. i can't seem to find anything on ncaa women's basketball.

As a ski racing fan I feel your pain. However it should be noted that hockey (the NHL) has also been removed from the main tabs list and is now only on the 'More Sports' tab as well. I'm actually surprised that SI appears to be scaling back it's soccer coverage. I thought there had been some good fan growth recently in the States.

No sir. I don't like it. However, I fear change. Why the hell do I take it personally that Hockey has been relegated? I really shouldn't.

I don't have a strong opinion about it, but I would notify them that some people are running at resolutions greater than 8x6. Even over 1024 in some cases! The background image starts to repeat and it looks like shit.

I've never checked SI for soccer... I know better than to check an American site for soccer coverage.

When your company's proxy server blocked anything with a gambling banner ad on it, you have to be creative... Hence SI and BBC being the main source for my soccer news until recently.

You're complaining about their soccer coverage? Sheesh. Just be glad you're not a ski racing fan. If Sports Illustrated had any honesty or integrity, they'd rename themselves Football, Baseball, Basketball and Hockey For, By and About Men. But I guess that is a little long.
