When the Super Bowl champion Broncos are feted in Washington today, Aqib Talib won't be with them. The recently married Talib was shot at a Texas pole dancing facility and is still in the hospital.

I had hoped that I would never again see a headline remotely close to the one that Talib managed to generate: "Shot in Dallas, Unable to Travel to White House". With the phrase "strip club" mentioned prominently in the accompanying story, no less.

Talib is one of those players which have sketchy personal problems off the field yet find ways to stay active in the league and remain on rosters. It wasn't long ago to when he was on the Buccaneers and punching taxi drivers or assaulting his sister's boyfriend..

While I'm surprised that the NFL hasn't suspended Manziel over his ongoing domestic violence investigation, the NFL is reportedly investigating Manziel involvement in April car crash.

Kind of hard to suspend someone that doesn't currently have a job in the league, innit?

I would think it would be much easier. Is he even in the NFLPA at this point?

Somewhat NSFW, but another possible Euro 2016 private league we could do. I added a private group called "spofi" here but I'm not totally sure how others join. It's all a bit slapdash so it may just be a matter of knowing the name.

One tip: the search is case-sensitive, which is craptastic.
