A blue Christmas for Tron7, who loses a slam dunk on the Rockets/Spurs game. I win the week and climb into second place. Howard_T holds on to the lead.

Rules

Pick the winner and spread for each game. Score 5 points if the team wins, 3 more points if your spread is close and another 2 if you hit the spread exactly.

At your option, make one game a slam dunk to triple your score in victory or lose 5 points in defeat.

Read the detailed rules on the first week's post.

If SportsFilter is down and you need to submit your picks, you can send them in email to me.

I've edited the rules to add this: "In the last week of the season, a game will be designated as the tiebreaker: Pick the total score of that game and the closest total wins. If two players choose the same score, the one who posted it first wins."

OK, back in action after a "halftime" break spent chained to the couch and being forced to watch bowl games with names provided by sponsors almost nobody ever hears of until bowl season. The lead has increased slightly, but is anything but safe. I don't want to be caught Walking the Dog in a bad neighborhood as was Donald Sloan.

Looks like the first game started about an hour ago. I've not seen the score but I get it if you don't want to count it.

Ugh. I blame (the otherwise brilliant) NBA Injury Report for not warning me that Mike Conley was out.
