More fantasy soccer I appreciate that we already have a perfectly good league and don't need another. However. The Sunday Times reckons its new game is more cerebral than the others, requiring more thought and analysis. The scoring system is more complex and transfers have to be negotiated with other managers. It could be good, it could be crap, who knows. Anyway, I have taken the liberty of setting up a spofi league with room for 15 teams. Feel free to join. The league name is Spofi and the password is Lebowski

Well, the password is "lebowski", isn't it? Any interest in http://squadgod.com/ or Yahoo!'s league? And when is the draft for this?

I created a SquadGod league as well. Spofi:simple should get you in.

Being a sucker for such things, I'm in.

I've done some poking around on the site, and this looks like it could be great fun. It uses the same model as rotisserie baseball. The player allocation seems much like an autodraft. No more having everyone pick Thierry Henry, despite his departure.

I'm not sure if I'm up for two EPL leagues, but the player info is invaluable.

You guys are crazy. But I love that kind of crazy.

Bloody 'ell. 15 teams is looking slightly over optimistic! We have to have a minimum of five or it's goodnight Irene before a ball is kicked. Where is starfucker when I need him!

I'm up for a second league but not at the Times link FB posted because it gave me a nasty, intrusive DriveCleaner popup ad. Running Firefox 2.0x on OS X 10.4 these things almost never make it through to me but the ones which do are right onto my blacklist.

I signed in to SquadGod but need Yer's approval to join the league.

FFS, it took me 5 minutes to figure it out and approve you. I originally found the site on a job listing board and it looks like they need the help. Makes me wish they allowed for telecommuting. It's a usability nightmare. I set the league to open for now and will try to manage it that way.

Never mind having nightmares, sign up for the Times doodah! Pay no attention to Bill, The Times of England is a model of probity: it is owned by Rupert Murdoch, for gods sake!

Okay, YF and I are the only two in the SquadGod league so pick up the pace you nancyboys. And nancygirls.

It looks like the Times doodah is doomed, with only 3 of us signed up and less than a week to go.

Anyone up for pick the score then?

For anyone with a stray team in Yahoo, I created a group to join. Group ID# 18828 Group Password pompey
