i didnt delete it, btw. we don't get much traffic though, it should be noted (we just have 11 members)... if #spofi works better, go with it. i'm not around sportsfilter anymore, or by extension flickr, as much as i used to be, so i haven't been cheerleading for flickr as much as i should have i guess. whatever works and has a better turnout, definitely do it.
Any chance you guys might set up a similar page to this one, which signs me in to the MeFi channel at the click of a button? All this IRC stuff is a bit daunting to a computer buffoon like myself.

Spofi Chat! You should be able to drag this link to your links toolbar or add it to your favorites. Clicking it will launch your IRC client, connect you, and drop you into the channel. But you will still need to download and install an IRC client for it to work. ChatZilla is an easy one that installs as a plug-in for the Mozilla browsers. If there is going to be a dedicated page on sportsfilter.com that all depends on the Founders putting it up.
