I don't know which was funnier: the Onion article on this new "curse" or the fact that yerfatma's Boston Herald link took me to nowhereland.

Buck O'Neil has finally gotten the recognition he deserves. Although a straight ballot induction would have been great, it's nice to know that he gets a statue and the Lifetime Achievement award named after him.

Marginally off-topic: normally I find The Onion's writing to be a little too formulaic and predictable. But this was awesome: If Al-Qaeda Had A Hockey Team, We'd Kick Its Ass!
