Marcus Jordan Costs College Team Endorsement : Adidas has cancelled their contract with the University of Central Florida's basketball program over Jordan's refusal to wear their shoes. Jordan instead appeared on the court for Wednesday's game in his father's trademark Air Jordans.

Fans Petitioning Against Larry Johnson's Return : Kansas City Chiefs fans have started a grass roots campaign to prevent Larry Johnson from becoming the team's all time rushing leader. Johnson, currently under suspension, is prohibited from all team activities and travel; and a lot of Chiefs fans would like to see things stay that way.

Frank Gansz Dies : He was an outstanding special teams coach. Such a sad way to go at an early age.

You're right bperk. It was the unveiling of the new FSU uniforms provided by Nike that I was reading about.

The only kicker there bperk is that there has been no mention of Nike wanting the contract. Nike DID just pick up Florida State, but not UCF.

Does Marcus Jordan warrant the loss of millions of dollars in endorsements? The scouting reports I've read would seem to indicate: no.

Personally, I'm signature #2943 on the petition. His constant run ins with law enforcement, blatant anger against women, and his disdain for the Chiefs and Kansas City should preclude him holding any position of honor at Arrowhead.

'At least someone came out and did the right thing. If it's true what this woman is saying, the accuser should go to jail.'
As should the perpetrator of the witch hunt with the Duke LaCrosse team.

...the best tight end in football history....for a second round pick...next year. Typically I take my date out for dinner, kiss her and tell her I love her before attempting to violate her. This sucks. Good luck T-Gonz, but I don't have great expectations for Atlanta this year or next.

Absolutely he has the right to say what he wants. There's nothing illegal about it. That being said, he should know better. I will feel no sympathy for him if the fallout around this costs him his job in Dallas. Maybe New Jersey would be a better fit...

Touche. I had forgotten about that.

Week FIVE being the operative. Don't you think they are more than willing to sign a deal with the devil to still have a shot in the first five weeks?

What do you expect from the town that gave us Jerry Springer. We're talking about a man who, as mayor, attempted to pay a prostitute with a check. I guess the team doesn't fall far behind. Kinda makes Dallas and Oakland look like altar-boys at this point dontcha think?

Fans Petitioning Against Larry Johnson's Return
As the ones that make his ridiculous paychecks possible, we feel it IS our business. The current rushing leader for the organization is Priest Holmes. Priest was the epitome of hard work, humility, and kindness while he was here. We don't want to see him supplanted by an ungrateful brat with a chip on his shoulder, mommy issues and a rap sheet that is rapidly approaching felon status.
