The smallest trophy, the biggest prize After a summer in which the beautiful game has been played with leather on willow, England regain the Ashes, although not without a few last-day wobbles. Oh, and another legend hangs 'em up.

Well done England. Great set of 5 matches. The return series in Australia will be a sell out. A few years ago my partner bought me an England ODI shirt, which I can now wear confidently in public. As an English-born Australian, I couldn't really lose anyway ;-)

Glorious

To quote that legend... "Simply brilliant."

How drunk were the team at the celebrations in London? Magnificent achievement lads. Have one on me.

I intend to never again get drunk. From now on, I'm getting Flintoffed. It all got a bit much for them later in the day: http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/ images/40797000/jpg/ _40797926_lords300x200.jpg

I had no idea what the Ashes were until I got home last night and caught Sky Sports update. 18 years, 9 tries. Congrats!

World championship level boozers. Good on them!

JJ, that is some visible evidence of mass consumption indeed!
