This guy I think preceded the Powerskip, and his design might be better (supposedly, the power skip stays flexible and 'sproingy' for a limited time, since it's just a bent piece of metal, whereas this guy uses actual coiled springs). However, he's also a bit 'goofy' (check out the art gallery for concept photos), and hasn't gone to market. His page was last updated in 2000, so...
