beaverboard, i must agree. there are some real stinkers smelling up the nfl this season. got to wonder why texas tech' 2008 qb graham harrel has not been picked up to replace some of the worst offenders. he was the one that made crabtree famous.

That would be hard to do, as he is under contract to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and is at present on the 9 game Injured List .

The 9-game injured list is an unfortunate part of that equation. I'd be happier if he was on the roster, just not taking snaps because the starters are just that much better.

He had to fight for his job throughout his college career. But whenever he got on the field, all he did was win. He hasn't put on pads and a helmet in a long time and certainly isn't going to play again now that he's a successful coach. And he's not anyone's idea of a true NFL specimen by any means. But Major Applewhite has got to be a better QB than some of the stiffs that are currently suiting up around the NFL.
