CFL Pick 'Em, Week 19: Last week of the season! Time for that final push! The trophy is in the building. Well, it would be if we had a trophy. Or a building. Noted for next year. Make your picks inside.

Calgary gets the job done and clinches first place in the West. B.C. gets the job done and stays in a tie for second. Montreal loses their offensive touch at home; end-of-season relaxation or something more worrisome? And Saskatchewan comes out of its second-half funk in a big way, absolutely embarrassing Edmonton and banishing the Esks to a crossover fate in windy Winnipeg.

Points are scarce this week, but both tommy and Monica eke out four-point leads, all but guaranteeing their respective trophies. Can anyone stage a final-week come-from-behind push?

This is it! Final countdowns! Final jostling for seeding! Fan appreciation! T-shirt giveaways! It's been a great year (for those of us who aren't Argos fans, anyway), and it's been great to have everyone here along for the ride. Thanks!

WEEK 19

Saskatchewan @ Toronto (Thursday, October 30)
This could still be a game to watch. Saskatchewan's fighting for a home playoff game next week, and Toronto's fighting for anything remotely resembling a win.

Montreal @ Edmonton (Friday, October 31)
Both these teams are home and cool, but still have something to prove in this potential East final match-up. Edmonton needs to rebound after last week, and Montreal can't afford to lose its offense for much longer.

Hamilton @ Winnipeg (Saturday, November 1)
Winnipeg lost two quarterbacks last week. They will not take any chances with anyone else this week. Meanwhile Hamilton's fighting for a chance to finish third for the first time in who knows how long, so they've gotta be the favourites coming in.

B.C. @ Calgary (Saturday, November 1)
This game depends on Thursday night's game. B.C.'s won their season series with Saskatchewan, so if the Riders lose in Toronto, B.C. will clinch second place two days before they play. If Saskatchewan wins, B.C. will need to bring it. You might want to delay your pick for this game until Friday.

Good luck!

I'll go first-y.

I'm going to wait and see what Tommy picks, then go against, just to make the final week interesting.

However, I will maintain my policy of always picking Edmonton and never picking Hamilton. If you need to ask...

OK, tommy lays down the marker, and I'll have to hit a few spreads:

I reserve the right to pull the ol' switcheroo later in the week, Owlhouse! (in all honesty, not very likely to switch anything)

Am I eligible for the "award" since I missed two weeks of picking (not that it would have added many points but I don't want to take anyone's trophy if I am not eligible)

For a long season like this, you can get a one- or two-week mulligan easily enough. If you were tied with another player who had picked every week, we might have a problem, but Anaconda is your closest rival and he missed a couple of weeks as well.

Esks MUST win this one ... EE by 10 (assuming they can actually score a touchdown or two)

Bombers ready themselves for the Esks ... Winnie in a tight one by 2.

BC would surely rather host the Riders, but those nasty Stamps are gonna send 'em on the road next week ... Calgary by 11.

Bless those blundering Argonauts.

Really? A direct snap in the last minute of play at your own 40?

The Don resigns. And with reports of bickering in the front office, looks like the flagship Argonaut is gonna be looking a whole lot different come first kickoff in '09.
