Woo Hoo!! My abilities are based solely on the fact that I am the living embodiment of hockey writ large. This can be the only explanation - cuz I don't know shit about NCAA hockey aside from the Hobey Baker finalists. I am attempting to 'owlhouse' this whole pool. (and agree that this needs to be a noun, verb and adverb in the SpoFi lexicon.)
Let's not lower standards here. I think we have to appreciate "the owlhouse" as an whole other level of accomplishment. In winning the World Series pick 'em pool and the CFL pick 'em pool, owlhouse was operating not just in areas where he doesn't really follow the sport but where the sports are largely not played in his country (I know this is not technically true, certainly with respect to baseball, but bear with me). To complete a true owlhouse would require one of us Americans or Canadians to win a cricket or rugby pool (again, I know these sports exist in the U.S. and Canada and that Canada actually participates in the cricket World Cup). Not to rain on weedy's parade, but if he wins here, I would refer to it as a "demi-owlhouse" or an "owlhouse junior."
Agreed. A minor league 'owlhouse' - The triple AAA of owlhousery, if you will. You know what? I'll take it.
I'm not sure weedy deserves such an honor since although he doesn't seem to have much knowledge of college hockey, he is Canadian and it is hockey.
Hi, my name is Todd. I'm a AA Owlhouse. Also, my 14 year old cat just took a very large leak in the middle of my living room. Life is good...am I on step three yet?
