Here's the link to enter your picks. You have until noon Friday. I'll try to keep things updated but I'll be at the Midwest Regional this weekend. Pics to follow....... Good Luck to All

I am in with an all-ECAC final. Why, yes, I am seeing a team of psychiatrists regularly. How did you ever guess that?

Go Gophers! Go WCHA!

I'm in. Of course, I know nothing of US college hockey. I'm hoping to pull an "Aussie dominating hockey pools" thing here.

OK, my picks are in. Got a CCHA Squad winning this thing. Had to after all my smack talk....

Mine are in!

It's on like Donkey Kong.

I homered it up and picked UNH. Hopefully SLU can do the dirty work and take BC out for us. Hockey East rules!

I will rule you all!!! Go Hockey East!!!

More credit is due to qbert72 than me for this "way too kewl app", although I have already pledged three pints of blood for the second stage.

qbert You rock my man. Thanks a ton for the Confidence Pool Appi.....

I have already pledged three pints of blood for the second stage. I need all my blood, but I'll pledge some navel lint.

Ok - we have 3 pints of blood and navel lint. Do I hear anyone with earwax or toejam?

I knew I was saving all my nail clippings and bodily secretions for a reason. To the winner goes the spoils, or some such nonsense.

You don't want to even KNOW what I'll pledge. It'll be a surprise. The most unpleasantest of surprises. I have totally guessed the results based on ignorance and bias as to the region the school comes from. Hence - Alabama - no chance.

I pledge a greasy pork sandwich dipped in a dirty ashtray.

Do you realize it's snowing in my room goddammit!

SDD, I can't get to the page to enter picks. I'm emailing them to you instead. I'll try back a couple more times this morning.

That's because the deadline was set at midnight last night.

You have until noon Friday. Sorry...this was the one I saw.

Do you realize it's snowing in my room goddammit! Close the window, silly. Damn, I was going to change my picks. Oh well.

Dad can still put your picks in TBH just email me your picks. Email is in my profile.

TBH Dude sorry about my screw up. I could have swore I set it for noon today. I recieved some hate email when I wrote the column on the Negro League Players being shut out of the HOF so I'm reluctant to have an email address in my profile. Anyway I can enter those for you as soon as I get them from skydivemom. Thanks for your patience ......

I recieved some hate email when I wrote the column on the Negro League Players being shut out of the HOF You have to be kidding. Hate mail? It was an interview. That is just unbelievable.

I can also change the pick submission deadline, if you wish. Just tell me up to when. Mind you, I shoud probably allow the commish to do this in the admin section, because wrong deadlines seem to be the most common mistake.

Please change it Q to 4:45 pm today. Dad is working right now and can't get away to post this himself.

wrong deadlines seem to be the most common mistake I think it's because Project Confidence has you set the time by GMT instead of EST/EDT. I used this time conversion site to figure out the deadline the last time I set up a pool. It looks like the first game starts in about half an hour (Clarkson vs Mass), which by our normal standards, should be the deadline.

Ok skater thanks - I thought the games started tonight at 5:00pm because that is when they start here. Thanks for the heads up. I have kept checking my email and still nothing from TBH so I don't know what else to do.

OK, everyone's got 2 more hours to enter their picks. The first game shouldn't be finished by then. Fris is right about the GMT timezone, that was just me being lazy.

thanks q!

the gametracker thingy is pretty cool. edit: ok, maybe it's not so cool. mine seems to still be at the end of the 1st period. edit: screw the gametracker. looks like the game is on tv.

Ok guys TBH got his picks in. Thanks for all the help and let the games begin....

Drum roll please. The Spofi Collective picks are: 16. Notre Dame (ND) - 13.19 15. Minnesota (MIN) - 13.05 14. Boston College (BCU) - 12 13. New Hampshire (NH) - 11.1 12. Clarkson (Clk) - 10.43 11. North Dakota (NDK) - 10.19 10. Boston U. (BSU) - 10.19 9. Maine (MNE) - 9.143 8. U. of Michigan (UM) - 9 7. Michigan State (MSU) - 8.524 6. St. Cloud State (StC) - 7.619 5. St. Lawrence (StL) - 6.429 4. Massachusettes (MAS) - 5.905 3. Miami-Ohio (MoO) - 4.571 2. Air Force Academy (AFA) - 3.095 1. Alabama-Huntsville (ABH) - 1.571 The 11th rank tie-breaker I gave to North Dakota (22-13-5) over Boston U (20-9-9) for having a slightly better win percentage (55% and 52.6% respectively).

Wholly shit. UMass beat Clarkson in OT???? Way to go, Minutemen! (doesn't look like Alabama-Huntsville is gonna exceed expectations, however)

(doesn't look like Alabama-Huntsville is gonna exceed expectations, however) I don't know about you, but that was an awesome game. The Chargers' goalie Narduzzi stood on his head the whole game.

Hey Gang I was at the Midwest Regional last night. All I can say is "Absolutely awesome Hockey" Wow.......... The squad from Alabama Huntsville gave Norte Dame all they could handle and yes Narduzzi was amazing. It was a historic game as a 4th Regional seeded with a losing record or 16th seeded overall had never in the history of this Tournament ever taken a #1 Seeded overall to OT, let alone Double OT. I had a Press Pass so I've got some Fantastic Photo's which I'll upload for your viewing pleasure when I can get some time. In the meanwhile here's the Updated Standings after Fridays Game. The Squad from MSU totally dismantled the Boston U squad and Norte Dame better snap out of the funk they were in last night against Ala-Huntsville. Poor Boston U. They were basically a higher seeded team playing a supposed Home Game (They were the home team) when in reality the 4,000+ spectators we're 95% MSU Fans. They made the atmosphere fantastic the place was rocking. I loved all the school pep band battles and the student sections. I only saw about 10 Boston U. students. Anyway like I said I'll post some pics. I'm going to the Final Tonite as Notre Dame recovers from basically playing 2 games the night before and faces a well oiled MSU squad that's clicking on all cylinders.

skydivedad, the Terriers are big boys, used to playing in front of passionately partisan crowds, whether their own or someone else's. Maybe the crowd was a factor, but if it was, it shouldn't have been. Damn, I haven't been able to actually watch any of this yet.
