I totally disagree. It's not our fault that your (American) coverage sucks the big one.
salmacis, I would appreciate it if you would post a spoiler disclaimer on anything that happened on that specific day. By the next day, you can assume we've seen it or didn't care enough to watch. Of course, you can do whatever you want, but I would appreciate the courtesy. Our coverage has actually been pretty good... though, without much to compare it to perhaps I've been fooled... We have six basic cable channels broadcasting all sorts of sports around the clock. NBC tape delays the main events for primetime, but I even appreciate that as I have to work when most of these things are going on anyway. Outside of that, our sucky coverage has afforded me the chance to watch sports I hadn't previously seen in full chunks. Things like handball and table tennis... I've always wanted to watch, but they would only broadcast five minute bit pieces on them. Now, I see them on random NBC affiliated channels in full. Hell, they even have horse-dancing or something, but I didn't watch that one. Basically, it's not our fault either that NBC has seen unfit to broadcast major events at 4:00 AM or while America is at work and I would appreciate it you could withhold event outcomes until the comment section.
No problemo. In the same spirit, could all you Americans please refrain from discussing baseball scores till the Thursday after the result? (I keed, I keed!)
