I would just like to go on record as saying I actually picked the Final Four this year. I took a lot of flack, as I knew it hadn't happened before, but I was steadfast in my belief that this was the year. Of course the rest of my bracket looks as bloody as a George Romero movie.

Now watch next year as a record number of office pool participants advance all the number one seeds to the Final Four again. Truthfully, I have no idea who to pick from this group to win it all. Any idea if they're moving the games from San Antonio to Chapel Hill so the Tar Heels don't have to leave their area? Why start giving them road games now?

I haven't seen much of the tournament due to my location over the past week but I have have the opportunity to see Memphis play and they look like they have as good a chance as anybody to win the tournament. They blew away both Michigan State and Texas in the regionals and look terrific right now.

This can happen in the Women's tournament too as the final eight are all 1 and 2 seeds. As a Maryland fan, I hope it does :)

YYM: As everyone has been saying, our [Memphis] fatal flaw is at the line. I think only 2 other schools in all of DI had a worse percentage. But, if we keep shooting like we did last night, not a team in the world can beat us. I mean, 80% is clearly too much to expect, of course, but even 70 or 65 would make the Tigers awfully hard to beat.
