Barefootin'!: Ron Hunter, coach of IUPUI, decides to raise awareness for Samaritan's Feet, a charity that collects shoes for needy children, by coaching barefoot. 110,000 pairs of shoes were collected by tip-off. An inspiring story.

Good on him. Nice story. Seemed like an appropriate way to raise awareness. Although, appropriateness is objective.

That's a great idea and a very worthy cause. Congratulations to them. (Insert bad comment about "athlete's foot" below.)

He's doing it for a very good cause. It was still so funny when they showed him in the news barefoot tho.

Being that coaches are superstitious, he might not wear shoes again until he loses another game.

Coach had to get his pedicure on for that. I would be way too self conscious to wear a suit and no shoes knowing that for a goodly portion of the time, people were staring at my bare piggies. Great cause and Good on him.

Saw this on ESPN today. Good cause, great idea, seems like a pretty cool guy to have coaching your team.
