hmm.. not too many details about the suit itself, but i seriously doubt the judge will grant that restraining order on the profits. what would even be the grounds for that? i guess now we'll see if those so-called documented sources can stand up to legal scrutiny.

Hey Bonds, could you tell us again why you didn't know what you were injecting yourself with? I think Baroid would be better off writing his own book and telling the public what he was really up.

Hey: the suit is not about the facts surrounding his steroid use, it's about how those facts were obtained by the authors. I don't think it's pertinent to discuss whether he used (uses) them or not, as I think most people accept that he did. The question is, can we accept him as a true athletic icon. For me, it will be a sad day when/if he breaks Ruth's and Aaron's records.

Bonds sucks and he should never be in the Hall of Fame. Now that that has been said, let no body repeat it so we can hope to have a good discussion in a Bonds thread for once. I agree with the Civil Suit because it seems that there is the possibility that some of the information they have gathered has been through illegal means. If that is true, no matter if "everyone knows" that he has done steroids, the book shouldn't hit the shelves.

This really just validates the truth of what is in the book. If you can't argue with the facts blame the messengers.
