Is hockey on the horizon for Texas Motor Speedway president Eddie Gossage?

"That means nothing," Gossage said. "That's like telling Joe Montana you know football because you coached peewee league. Dustin got a laugh out of the NHL talk. He told me, 'They can't want you, Dad. I've seen you skate.' I don't know if this guy is the right guy for the job, but ... Bettman's never been on skates in his life, has he? And please, I implore thee O hockey jaysus on the Carlton Street of my heart, please let the owners not renew Gary Bettman's contract.

I have a pet theory that they will replace Bettman with Lou Lamoriello, continuing the tradition of dudes who just don't get it.
