Dave Stewart is one guy I believe the Hall Of Fame has overlooked. (Point of view disclaimer; life long Orioles fan) This guy was the most consistantly nasty SOB on any AL mound for the better part of a decade. But he never won the Cy Young. There was always somebody with some gawdy stat that got the votes. All Stewart did was go out to the bump, eat innings and crap wins. Year after year he was one of the best pitchers in the game. I hope the Old~Timers Committee corrects this at some point. I can think of no one (other than those exiled) who deserves it more.
