The Saints come home to a heart warming party and hang out with grateful, while a little tipsy, fans of the city's historically maligned, now proud franchise. If this doesn't bring a tear to your eye, you dont like football. It brought a couple to mine, and I am a Philadelphia phan.

Quite a Concept “You’re sitting on a machine, rowing to exhaustion, going nowhere. Most people understand there’s something deeply nonsensical about the whole enterprise.” … Luanne Mills, who will take home a hammer for lightweight women, says, “I’ve met so many wonderful people from all over the world. I like everything about erging except doing it.”

[Perhaps our own Ultimate Olympian will give this a try this cold and windy winter.]

I used to row for UC Berkeley. Erging is horrible but neccesary for training, and every single person that has ever rowed ergs. It is a great workout but you have to enjoy the pain, gain doesn't come easy.

thanks jerseygirl, I appreciate it. Although I don't bet real money on sports I started playing around with "fantasy wagering" and it really makes the games more fun. NBX and Wagerline are my favorites, pickspal reminds me of a game for ages 2-12.

UT tells woman she cheers too much Tennessee fan Victoria Caldwell said she was speechless after receiving a call from the UT Athletic Department on Thursday. Fans seated near her in Neyland Stadium would have a hard time believing that. Caldwell, a first-time season ticket holder, said UT's Bill Higdon called her at home and said other fans had complained about her. Their complaint? She cheers too much.

Pacers new line-up, watch out for the Heat Stephen Jackson and three teammates, Marquis Daniels, Jamall Tinsley and Jimmie Hunter, visited a strip bar and were involved in an alteraction where Jackson allegedly jumped on a car hood, fired gunshots "in the air" and was hit by a car. Two of the other Pacers also had guns in their cars, all with permits.
