Backyard Zamboni ice resurfacing machine After successfully developing the Porta-Rinx backyard ice rink, a Connecticut man turned his attention to the surface of the ice. Years of work have resulted in the Bambini Revolution available for order by the home enthusiast or municipality. Ice resurfacing machines were first invented by Frank J. Zamboni to smooth the ice at his Iceland rink in what is now Paramount, California.

The Zamboni name is so synonymous with ice resurfacing that Zamboni has the rules of use available in an effort to prevent watering down of their brand name.

Nice post, gg. I remember seeing an episode of Ask This Old House from a guy up in New England that wanted to put a Winter Pond in his backyard that could be removable in the warmer months. It was a great feat, but done quite well. Then again, I live in Texas, so take my opinion with a grain of cayenne.

Brilliant!

nice. maybe they can use it yankee stadium next january.

"Then again, I live in Texas, so take my opinion with a grain of cayenne." I agree Ufez, although we could make use of it that 1 hour of winter that shows up around Fort Worth Stock Show time in late January.

I would love to see a second NHL outdoor Game, infact if I lived near by I would by tickets to the game, but too bad I live in California

I just used this to clean my living room. That's the kind of real fan I am. Pussies.

I see a trademark infringement lawsuit in someone's future.
