Kahne gets the pole, Lester gets to race another day.

Kasey won again today and Bill Lester came in 32nd. I also think he was on still on the lead lap. The race was rain shortened but no one was going to beat Kasey today. The car handled great and he could pass any where he wanted. I think if Bill could ever get into a good ride and stay in it for a year, he could have some good results. Maybe he might land in the vacated 42 car of Casey Mears for 2007.

The biggest shocker of the weekend was the Busch race. David Gilliland who has only run 7 races won the Busch race. He only runs part time and missed the race in Charlotte a few weeks ago. It was the first race a Busch driver won the Busch race. Nextel Cup drivers had won them all until last night. If there is ever an upset in Nascar, this was it. www.nascar.com

I hate to disagree with you dbt, but there was still alot of race left. Jeff Gordon had a good car as did Jr. and a few other drivers. I have learned never to count Gordon out when he is in the top ten.

dbt, Gordon led 50 laps of this race, and in turn 2, he blew the doors of Kahne. Kasey and Jeff's cars were strong in different parts of the track, but they were more evenly matched than you acknowledge. Given a full race, it would've been tight between the two of them.

j gordon is my guy. would have been a good race without the rain but ya gotta tip your hat to kasey, he was there at the checkered flag. i think thats 4 races he's won

Speaking of Gordon. Did anyone else hear him whinning to Jimmy Johnson about running 3 wide early in the race? I was so glad DW and Larry Mac put him in his place. Jeffie made it sound like Jimmy was suppose to just follow him. NEWS FLASH Jeffie, Jimmy wants to win too. His job isn't to help you to the front. Quit your damn whinning.
