Kansas City Stadium Gives Name to Livestrong: Kansas City's new $200 million dollar soccer stadium is being named Livestrong Sporting Park, thanks to a donation by the team to Lance Armstrong's cancer charity. Sporting KC (the renamed Kansas City Wizards) start play in the facility June 9. The stadium also will donate a portion of ticket and concession revenues to the charity and ban tobacco products.

Can't believe a city would fund some businessman's plaything.

Yerfatma, if you read the article, it's hardly a plaything.

Ah, but if you clicked on holden's link, you'd . . . never mind. It was one of those gags that only worked if you saw his link.

I think it is totally unfair that rcade gets to go back and correct the errors in his posts when they are pointed out. Unless of course, there is a way that I could do the same thing?
