Clint Malarchuk accidentally shoots self in the chin with a rifle: Best for having his throat slashed by a skate, he is recovering in hospital despite refusing help from paramedics. This man must be unbreakable.

Holy crap, Clint! I wish him the best of luck and a speedy recovery. Coincidentally, I watched the clip of the Blues/Saabres game from 1989 just the other day. I sell hockey equipment and I wanted to prove to our buyer why we needed to carry neck guards for the growing youth and adult programs in my area. He bought plenty after seeing that.

One quote I remember well from that incident in 1989 was, I think, while Clint was on the way or already at the hospital, he asked if they could have him back for the third period. Awesome.

Good luck, Clint.

I love the part about how he initially refused treatment from the paramedics even though he was bleeding profusely from the chin.

One tough S.O.B.

(hey Clint, take a gun safety course)

I think the story's B.S. Malarchuk is part of a vast conspiracy to suppress the fact that here in Nevada, we all have guns, even the jackrabbits, and we're not afraid to use them! You paying attention there, California?

Big deal. I chopped both my arms off in a game of hide and go seek. How do I type, you ask? Let's just say I have a huge dexterous wang.

Wait - that was too literal. I wanted to be more coy. Great, all this typing is curiously arousing me. I'll have To SStatr Thhkning ABout BAssebll.
