Well, there was a chat site that we used to hang out at on various game days, but it's been a while since we've been there: Campfire. Maybe you can talk people into using it again.
Usually, in the past, someone post here in the Locker Room that they were starting a Campfire chat, but as I mentioned before, it's been a while since anyone has done that.
I was on the campfire chat site today and it was the first time anyone had been in the NFL "room" since the Super Bowl. I was also idling on #sportsfilter on the IRC channel.
For information on the various chat sites, check the much-ignored (especially by rcade) wiki (entry on chat).
Maybe I'm admitting my lack of computer knowledge here, but why not just post a thread in the locker room each Sunday and chat here?
That was kind of my thought as well, Bo. I mean, I have an IRC channel thing on my comp, but I would think it would be easier to keep it within the sight. I'll definitely check the Campfire chat out next week though to see if anyone's around.
and by sight, I mean site. wow, it must be 2:07am.
well, chatting in the locker room means constantly hitting reload and making it difficult to keep up in "real time." I am not sure how rcade has the server set up. Does the site update ASAP?
The campfire and the IRC channel are on servers other than SpoFi which may be a good thing.
*shrug*
Anyone is welcome to do what they want, but campfire and IRC are set up for real-time chat.
I'm up for the RT chat when I'm able, terrapin, I've joined you before. Sundays it is.
I'll join you as well, assuming I'm near a computer Sundays.
