Meet Team USA The U.S. has sent nearly 600 athletes to Beijing for the Olympic Games. But who are they? America's new set of Olympians are from 47 of the 50 states -- as well as athletes who were born in 28 other countries -- and includes identical twins, teenagers, a cancer patient and the daughter of a Super Bowl champion. Who's from the smallest hometown? Which team is the brainiest? Which college is represented by the most Olympians? Get to know a little more about Team USA.

While this is absolutely the most USA-centric post ever, I'd enjoy similar FPPs from our friends to the north...and east...and west.

South?

We finished fourth in the total medal count at the last 2 Olympics, but we may be on the decline. Still, not bad for a nation of 21 million.

The three olympian-free states are Montana, North Dakota, and West Virginia. Gonna leave the jokes up to everyone else (for now.)
