Dolphin-friendly Tuna,-good one Bismark. But it is now official.Parcells is now the VP of football operations. If I was the owner of the Dolphins,I'd be leary considering his track record of quitting a year or two down the road.
If I was the owner of the Dolphins,I'd be leary considering his track record of quitting a year or two down the road. Yeah, but he leaves them with exponentially better teams than when he arrived. I would kill to have Parcells come to, if only to leave, my team for a few years. They would most likely be superbowl bound (think Pats and Cowboys). My team can be Parcell's "plaything" for two years whenever he wants. I'm sure Blank felt the same way.
...if you were a really big established name like Cowher or Parcells would you want to get involved with a team like the Falcons now? I don't know about Parcells/Cowboys, but Cowher inherited a 7-9 team and had only 4 losing seasons the 15 years he was with Pittsburgh. But I don't know if he would come back to coaching so soon. What better way to really to prove your awesomeness as a coach than to take a team who is having a sucky season and turn them around in 1-2yrs, making them a possible Super Bowl contender?
So, this make Parcells.....the Big Fish, the Big Aquatic Mammal, or just what exactly?
So, this make Parcells.....the Big Fish, the Big Aquatic Mammal, or just what exactly? The Big Dick? Is anyone besides me already totally sick of all the coverage Parcells is getting over this? I now understand why he went to the Dolphins instead of the Falcons; the Falcons play in a dome and there's no WAY Parcells' giant ego would fit inside an enclosed stadium.
