Penguins' Lemieux admitted to hospital: 40-year-old star suffering from an irregular heartbeat. Team captain will probably be out weeks.

He's out now. Career not in jeopardy according to what I've read. Doctor's recommend he cut down to no more than four servings of poutine a week - for precautions.

Seeing Lemieux go through more health problems just fucking kills me. This guy has a hall of fame career already and I still feel he is being cheated (granted its by his own health, but still) Had he not retired for 3 years he would have shattered Wayne's goal record. I hope he makes a full recovery and can come back and contribute and not just play.

I wish him well too. Sounds like he is backing down from the Olympic Team, whichs mean he could be out for quite a while.
