Tarver says he's ready to fight even if Jones isn't: "He isn't going to hit me with the left hand anyway, so he won't have much use for that," said Tarver, adding, "whatever Roy Jones shows up, I am planning on destroying." Jones issued a statement from his training camp in Pensacola, Fla. that read: "I'm there. Nothing stops the RJJ!!!!! LOL!!!11"

Tarver is going to smack the black of the Rizzer. So both Antonio Tarver and Roy Jones will walk away winners. If this is the same RJJ!!!! who looked like a club fighter against Glen Johnson, Tarver will have him eatinc canvas by the 4th round.

Well - I was shocked at the way RJJ's career turned in that Glen Johnson match, maybe I can be shocked again. Tarver is not a great choice to warm back up, though, Roy. He's a killer.

roy jones is a burn out. people said i was crazy when i said he was the most overrated fighter of all time With Tarver's and Johnson's nasty K.O.s i was proven right. There was nobody in the light heavyweight division to fight. They were all bums. And no RJ didn't make them look like bums they were already that. I wish he would have fought Hopkins. It would have been better to watch Hopkins knock his ass out.

You weren't proven anything, and from that statement, I'm with all those "people" who called you crazy. Roy Jones Jr. was the best fighter I've ever seen. In his prime, untouchable. The fact that after years of dominating anyone who got in the ring with him you point to losses at the end and say it proves anything is comical. Roy was about speed, take it away, and you lose most of what made him so good. Of course, all those dominating years are meaningless since he only fought bums, right? So he can't win. I remember when Jones faught Toney everyone said Jones couldn't handle him. After beating Toney critics of Roy Jones Jr. refused to give Roy credit, instead calling Toney a bum.

People said I was crazy when I said Muhammad Ali was the most overrated fighter of all time. With Holmes' nasty victory, I was proven right. Sheesh.

I can't believe Jones wants to put his comeback and future boxing career on the line with Tarver. Tarver looked sluggish against Johnson but he still beat the man down on the second go around. Jones should probably have decided to fight someone a little less skilled than AT. However if he gets beat down he'll lose to the skilled Tarver unlike Tyson getting embarassed by McBride- that was sick! Maybe Jones justs wants to be a commentator, hopefully he does not get knocked to R. Bowe land and have to learn how to read and speak again.

Roy jones is one of the best athletes of all time who just happened to be a boxer, what happened to him happens to every athlete they get old and do not know when to quit, and as for Bernard Hopkins I love B-Hop but he even admitted roy beat him rather easily, check the facts.

Seems that almost all boxers go on longer than they should (see Mike Tyson). And why the hell not? Take a few punches for a million bucks. Who wouldn't?
