Did cheerleader boots help protect rookie? Cleveland Indians pitcher Kyle Denney was hit in the leg by a bullet that pierced the team's bus Wednesday night, but he was not seriously hurt, perhaps thanks to white cheerleading boots he was wearing as part of a hazing ritual.

Anyone have a photo of him wearing the boots? Hahahahahaha.

Well, I guess I'll be taking a dirtnap tomorrow, because I have officially heard of everything! Geez, this was just so bizarre!

Man, about twenty seconds ago, I read a write-up of the shooting incident, shrugged it off as "that's kinda weird", and then came here to find out that cheerleading boots were involved. I must say, I suspected as much.

He was wearing "a skirt, blond wig, fishnet stockings and tall white boots." I don't know what is more damaging: a bullet in the leg, or a picture of Denney in that outfit. Yowza!

"Hazing ritual", huh? Sure. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

At least I have a new excuse to crossdress now.

Make sure you wear the go-go boots. You don't know when someone might shoot you in the leg.
